The Honorable Ray A. Farrington. Before retiring in 2007, after 20 years as a Supervising Judge of Workers’ Compensation, Judge Farrington served as a house counsel for the Prudential Insurance Company; and eight years as an assistant Bergen County Prosecutor, including as Chief of Trials. He graduated after serving four years as a Judge Advocate General officer in the 25th Infantry Division on active duty. He served 17 years with the 50th Armored Division of the New Jersey National Guard, retiring as Staff Judge Advocate with the rank of Lieutenant Colonel. Judge Farrington has served as a trustee of the Berge County 200 Club and as an attorney for the Wyckoff Zoning Board of Adjustment before becoming a judge.

John H. Geaney, Esq. Mr. Geaney’s practice involves the representation of employers, self-insured companies, TPA’s, and insurance carriers in workers’ compensation, the ADA, and FMLA. Mr. Geaney is certified by the Supreme Court of NJ as a WC Law attorney and was selected to the “NJ Super Lawyer” list from 2005 –2017. In addition to writing many publications, Mr. Geaney has been a frequent lecturer and presenter. With a degree from Boston College Law School, he is a member of the American Bar Association and NJ Bar Association, a Fellow of the College of WC Lawyers, and many more. In addition, he serves on multiple Boards and Committees.

Jon L. Gelman, Esq. Jon L. Gelman is nationally recognized as an author, lecturer, and skilled trial attorney in the field of workers' compensation law and occupational/environmental disease litigation. Over a career spanning more than four decades, he has been involved in complex litigation involving thousands of clients challenging the mega-industries of asbestos, tobacco, and lead paint. Gelman is the author of NJ Workers' Compensation Law (Thomson-Reuters) and co-author of the national treatise Modern Workers' Compensation Law (Thomson-Reuters). He is the former Vice-President of The Workers Injury Law & Advocacy Group (WILG) and a charter member of The College of Workers' Compensation Lawyers.
